Seasons of Waiting - by Christina Morland

Much like an onion, this book has layers! It's been 25 years since the events of Pride & Prejudice, and since Darcy never returned to Hertfordshire there was no "Happily Ever After" for our dear couple. But when a chance encounter results in Elizabeth BINGLEY falling in love with WILLIAM Darcy (Georgiana's son), the complications of the past two decades prove to be no match for a couple determined to be happy, no matter their age.
We're not going to lie, this book was HEAVY, but the layers of complicated stories lead to some interesting places!

A Quest for Mr Darcy - by Cass Grafton

Darcy is sooooo over Elizabeth Bennet...until he comes back from a trip abroad and discovers that not only has her family experienced great tragedy, but they are now tenants of his estate! Can he resist the siren call of her wit and beauty under such circumstances? And why is Mr Bennet being so secretive?

This variation continues the theme of books where Darcy and Lizzy "meet later," but with a twist: while at Pemberley together, and before Lydia's elopement is revealed, Darcy and Lizzy enjoy a blissful 9 days as an engaged couple. Complications ensue, and Lizzy writes a letter releasing Darcy from the engagement. Will our favorite couple be able to overcome the awful bitterness of spirits that result? And why did Lizzy "cry off"?
