Bonus Episode! Instead of one episode this week, you get TWO!
This variation continues the theme of books where Darcy and Lizzy "meet later," but with a twist: while at Pemberley together, and before Lydia's elopement is revealed, Darcy and Lizzy enjoy a blissful 9 days as an engaged couple. Complications ensue, and Lizzy writes a letter releasing Darcy from the engagement. Will our favorite couple be able to overcome the awful bitterness of spirits that result? And why did Lizzy "cry off"?
Along the way, we discuss whether it is appropriate to share our opinions about the romantic choices of friends and family, if a special "spark" is necessary to keep relationships alive, and whether the name of a book can be too long to remember...

If you're looking for a low-angst but sweet romance between a slightly older and more mature Lizzy and Darcy, this book is for you!
Ardently asks the question, "What if Lizzy and Darcy never met at Pemberley?" and then has a whole lotta fun with the answer! In our first "real" episode of the podcast, we discuss what we like ("Maybe you ought to keep it short"), what we love ("Miss Bingbong!"), and what we could do without (epilogues: Team Alicia or Team Emilie?)
*Important note: This has been one of Emilie's favorite variations for years…and we didn’t know until *this week* that it’s no longer available on Kindle! If you can track down a copy, DO! It’s a great introduction to the world of P&P Variations.*
Also: As newbies to the podcast world, we hope you won't be too distracted by our technical failings! We are still learning and growing, but it will get better as we go along (promise)!
